How did you two meet?

We connected on a dating app in the middle of the pandemic in 2020, and a friendship quickly turned into romance, which quickly turned into a soul-enriching, nurturing, and dynamic love. We both immediately fell in love with each other's families and could not be happier to be sharing our special day with all of you.

When should I RSVP by?

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The attire for the wedding is formal – suits and ties, dresses (typically knee-length or longer), and don't forget a jacket! We are in the South, but it still gets cold!

Where do I park?

Answer

The Kent has a private parking garage across the street from the entrance of the venue. Security is stationed in the garage and can help point you toward the venue. We also recommend getting an Uber so you can live it up at the reception and not have to worry about getting home!

Will there be a sit down dinner?

Answer

Yes! There is a seating chart and we will have food stations so you can choose exactly what you'd like to eat.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

You can arrive any time after 5 pm. The ceremony will start promptly at 5:30 pm.

Do I need to bring anything?

Answer

Bring your dancing shoes! Tips for the bartenders are always appreciated but not necessary.

We haven't had an issue in Memphis, but we want you all to be safe. We suggest following these tried and true safety precautions: 1. Don't leave anything valuable in your car. 2. Travel in groups. 3. We suggest taking an Uber at night rather than walking.

Smoking is not permitted on The Kent's grounds. We will be fined per person/incident, so please make sure you find a location that is appropriate!
