Can I Bring My Kids?

Answer

While we alway love seeing your kids, the event will be adults only. Please let us know if you need help finding a babysitter, or if you're traveling with someone who will watch your kids and need connecting hotel rooms!

I see I'll have some free time between your ceremony and reception?

Answer

You sure will! Our church is located in the Upper East Side, 40 blocks north of the reception. Central Park is very close for a quick stroll. If you're looking for something more in line with cocktails, there are plenty of bars around the UES and closer to the Yale Club! Some suggestions: The Mark Bar - East 77th Street and Madison Ave. Drinks close to the ceremony. The Cantor Roof Garden Bar - At The Metropolitan Museum E 82nd St and 5th Ave. Great views of Central Park. The Campbell - 15 Vanderbilt Ave, New York, NY 10017. Great cocktails across the street from the reception. Ammos Estiatorio - 45th Street and Vanderbilt Ave. Cocktails adjacent to the reception.

How does one get around in NYC?

Answer

Generally speaking, cabs are readily available. For those who haven't spent much time in Manhattan, a yellow cab with it's light on means it's available (just wave/yell at it). Uber and Lyft are also around, as is Via if you're going for the ride share option. The 6 train goes right into Grand Central, next to our reception venue and main hotel, and travels up and down the East side of Manhattan.
