We're getting married!

Andy and Tricia met over 7 years ago at Butler University through mutual friends. Although it took some time, they eventually realized that they were meant to be more than friends and started dating! After graduating from Butler, Andy went to grad school at Washington University in St. Louis to study social work. Tricia remained at Butler to finish PA school. After 2 years of long distance, and many long car trips on I-70, they both found jobs in Indianapolis and moved only a few blocks away from each other. They were so happy to be back in the same city! Since then, they have grown even closer and stronger in their relationship and they love the life they have built here in Indy!

On 8/5/2020, Andy took me on a picnic to 100 acres park, a place just minutes from Butler where we had gone on one of our first dates back in college. After enjoying a walk, some wine, and our favorite sandwiches from Goose the Market, Andy surprised me by getting down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. I, of course, said yes!
