Borgo di Pietrafitta Relais

ROOMS: We have booked the entire property at Borgo di Pietrafitta for the full weekend, 8/16 - 8/19. So you will NOT need to find your own accommodations from Friday through Monday (3 nights). All rooms have private bathrooms and many have their own living spaces and kitchens (one even has a tower!). Brad and Andy will be assigning rooms once we receive RSVPs. We will email all attendees a few months out so you know where your room will be located. TOTAL COSTS FOR FULL WEEKEND: We were able to negotiate room costs to $250 per person total. This covers your entire stay and includes room cleaning every day. Payment can be made using the link below (click 'view') OR Venmo Brad at @Bradagr For clarity - if you are a couple, the cost is $500 total. If you are coming on your own, the cost is $250 total. This is the only cost incurred once you arrive at the Borgo, everything else is fully covered. Please let Brad or Andy know if you have any questions or concerns.

Flight

Fly into Rome (FCO) or Florence (FLR)

AIRPORT OPTIONS: Rome (FCO) or Florence (FLR). Rome has more direct flight options but Florence is closer to the Borgo. Milan (MXP) and Venice (VCE) are also options. Choose whichever airport is easiest for you! FLYING INTO ROME (FCO): We recommend flying in the day before and taking the train to Florence (about 1.5 hours long) and then hopping on our shuttle from Florence to the Borgo. It's a great chance to see the beautiful Italian countryside. Note: If you are renting a car, the Rome airport is about a 3 hour drive to the Borgo. FLYING INTO FLORENCE (FLR): Plan to arrive the day before or in the morning day-of so you can be on-time for the shuttle leaving at 2:00pm. Note: If you are renting a car, the Florence airport is about a 1 hour drive to the Borgo. The website linked below (click "View") has a lot of great tips for finding great airfare to Europe!

Shuttle Bus to the Borgo

We will have a shuttle bus to take wedding guests to the Borgo leaving from Florence at 2:00pm sharp on Friday August 16. Pick up location is at a hotel - Palazzo Castri 1874. Address: Piazza dell'Indipendenza 7, Florence, Italy 50129 Note: If you are renting a car, feel free to drive directly to the Borgo on Friday afternoon. Plan to arrive at 3:00pm.

Train

Trains Between Cities

Traveling by train between cities in Italy is a terrific way to get around. It's fast, scenic, and efficient. Be sure to book your train tickets early (same time you book flights) since trains are popular in Europe. We recommend booking directly through Trenitalia, the primary train operator in Italy (linked below, click "view"). Trenitalia also has an app where you can search for and buy tickets directly.

For any guests who are driving, there is a parking lot at the Borgo for you to keep your car for the weekend. Please plan to arrive at the Borgo at 3pm on August 16 and departing at 10am on August 19.
