Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI)

BWI is about 45 minutes from Gaithersburg. The MTA Commuter Bus 201 operates between BWI and the Gaithersburg Park & Ride Lot, about a 6 min drive from the Marriott hotel. (It also stops at the Shady Grove Metro Station, close to our house!) Click "View" below for more info about the commuter bus. We haven't taken it, but we've heard it's convenient! It only makes a few stops between BWI and Gaithersburg.

Flight

Reagan National Airport (DCA)

DCA is about an hour from Gaithersburg. You can conveniently take the Metro right from the airport to the Shady Grove station, and then catch a bus or rideshare.
