Fernbank is kid-focused science museum with lots of exhibits, a 3-D theatre and a cafeteria. Check museum hours on the website.
Ponce City Market has a shopping hub, an unrivaled food court and outdoor spaces that are great for families or day drinking and sometimes both. This Atlanta hallmark also offers unique art installations and access to the Beltline, a bike and walking path that will take you all around Atlanta. This is a new addition to Atlanta and while I haven’t personally visited, I’ve heard wonderful things! Great for all ages!

The best ice cream in Atlanta, Jeni’s started in Chicago and now has locations all over. If you don’t have one in your area, I’d definitely make sure to try it before you leave! There are several locations in Atlanta so just look for the one nearest you!
This eclectic area has some of the coolest thrift stores and best little shops if you’re looking for something unique. Be sure to check out Junkman’s Daughter, Psycho Sisters, and Savage Pizza.
