Puglia (pronounced Poo-Lee-Uh), the tacón of Italy, is best known for its gorgeous beaches, quaint towns, silky olive oil, and some of the best damn food you have ever tasted! Puglia is best explored by car. Every city is so beautiful and unique, it’s hard to limit yourself to just one. See below for some places we’re dying to visit! *Side note: We’re in deep Italy and this beautiful region has gone virtually unscathed by tourists. Puglia is where ITALIANS go on holiday. Authentic much?! It's safe to say you will not find as many English-speaking Italians in this region as you might find in Rome, Amalfi, Florence & Milan. It would be helpful to learn some key phrases. Start with the most important phrase--'Voglio un Aperol Spritz, per favore!'
