Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We're requesting that people RSVP by March 1st so the camp can prepare for our group.

Question

Can I bring a date? Are kids welcome to come?

Answer

Yes, please bring a date. Couples and families are welcome - there will be games and activities for all to enjoy!

Question

How much does lodging at Grotonwood cost?

Answer

Kelly and Andrew are covering Saturday's ceremony, reception, and evening festivities. We want to make it easy for you to join in all the fun activities we have planned for the weekend, so we have lodging available for Friday and Saturday at Grotonwood Camp. We are requesting people who stay to consider contributing to the additional costs of lodging and meals, a suggested contribution of $40 per person per night or $200 total for a family. People only coming Saturday or who are unable or uncomfortable contributing that amount can contribute whatever seems right. Please make all contributions through the "Camp Contributions" item on the registry or save on fees and use Venmo (@Kelly-Steinhaus) or PayPal (KellySteinhaus@gmail.com). Payments should be made to Kelly directly, not through Grotonwood Camp.

Question

What are the accommodations like?

Answer

There are two lodges that have hotel-like accommodations and "rustic" (but still nice) cabins. The hotel-like rooms are mostly doubles. The cabin rooms vary from three to six people in mostly bunk beds. Most rooms have shared bathrooms. Only one lodge comes with bedding and all other accommodations require people to bring their own. Example pictures of these rooms can be found toward the bottom of the photos page.

Question

What should I bring?

Answer

For those staying at Grotonwood, please plan on bringing: - a pillow and either a sleeping bag or twin sheets and a blanket - comfortable clothes for games & activities - nicer clothes for the wedding ceremony - toiletries (including a towel) - other board games that you might want to play - a sense of humor
