We met through friends in New York City on December 30, 2013, and rang in the new year together the next day. Angela was attending graduate school at NYU and Scott was just visiting but we kept in touch, slowly becoming smitten with each other. We dated long distance for nearly two years — and broke up for three. But in 2019, we rekindled our love while still living in different states. Finally, in September 2020, Angela moved to Tampa knowing Scott was her soulmate. He proposed on the dock at his parent's house in Land O' Lakes on December 31, 2020.
