While I like to think it was my snowboarding style that got Drea to notice me for the first time on a ski trip with friends to June Mountain, one thing was undeniable - there was chemistry between the two of us.  It wasn't until Stagecoach, a couple of months later, that those feelings were fully validated. Singing along to country music was a happy place for both of us and something immediately felt right singing and dancing together. Despite having been to plenty of Stagecoach shows before, it was clear this one would stand out above the rest. It also felt right when we each serendipitously blurted out in unison that we had our sights set on the same first dance song. Trying to play it somewhat cool (and failing miserably), I knew I couldn't leave the weekend without locking in a date for the following week. Trying to impress Drea, I chose Nick's in San Clemente as somewhat of a midpoint between San Diego and Newport Beach. Drea also made sure to leave plenty of belongings behind at the condo for me to return to her (a veteran move, I may add). After a long first date that quickly confirmed that "festival love" might just actually be a lifelong love, we both knew in our bones this was something real. Our Tuesday "meet in the middle" date nights became nights of intention, trying to learn everything there was to know about one another and eventually falling in love. Over the months and years that followed, our love continued to mold into the perfect partnership. In some ways, we represent opposites attracting, but more than anything, we simply love and support each other unconditionally and have spent years building our ideal life together. We often refer to what we've built together as such a "big, beautiful life" and we certainly could not have done that on our own. Which brings us to our wedding day - where we get to celebrate with so many important and influential people who helped shape this big, beautiful life we will continue to build for the rest of our lives.  We cannot wait to celebrate with each and every one of you!
