Bethany is Julia’s sister, first friend and, if you asked Julia at 5 years old, her half-twin. Bethany now lives in Portland, Maine with her partner, Jo and two cats.

Lauren St. Hilaire

Lauren and Julia met at UCLA and bonded over screaming at football games, dancing for 26.2 hours and struggling with Mapquest. While they were roommates for two years in college, Lauren exemplified a heart of service for others, a spirit of adventure, and a tender-heart. She now lives in San Diego with her husband Steve and two dogs!

Marissa Munzing

Marissa and Julia met during zero week of college at in Intervarsity event and were fast friends. After meeting in the elevator, Julia and Marissa memorized one another’s biographies and decided that they should keep hanging out. 16 years later, Marissa is still one of her best friends. She resides in Sacramento, with her husband Tyler, and their two sons.

Jessica Keolani Muñoz

Julia and Keo met during zero week at UCLA and immediately became a trusted friend. Over their many years of friendship, Keo taught Julia how to attune and listen deeply to others, how to laugh from your belly and let your tears flow, and also how to conjugate some tricky Spanish verbs! Jessica lives in Santa Monica with her husband Andrés and their puppy.

Hana Park

Hana and Julia were roommates at Hobart for 6 years, have travelled together, sung many songs, eaten Ubatuba hundreds of times and had the best dance parties. Hana taught Julia how to be a better roommate, so Anderson can thank her for that.

Jenna Hartsell

Jenna and Julia don’t actually remember exactly when they met at UCLA, but once they hit it off, there was no stopping this dynamic duo. Jenna and Julia love traveling together and lived in Sevilla together right out of college. Jenna is one of those friends that anything you do together is the most fun, they can talk for hours and hours and every time you see them it’s as if you’ve never been apart. Julia is so grateful that Jenna can join the celebrations from DC.
