Ricker Hill Orchards
15 minutes from King's Hill (wedding venue), 25 minutes from hotel. Classic New England orchard, donuts, hard cider, disc golf, and more!
Streaked Mountain
A short hike to a rocky peak with some decent views of the White Mountain foothills. Streaked mountain is 1755ft in elevation, and the hike is steep but short. Located right above King's Hill (wedding venue)! https://www.mainetrailfinder.com/trails/trail/streaked-mountain-trail
The Old Port
If you're stopping in Portland on your way up, make sure you take a walk around the Old Port. There are shops, cafes, and restaurants, and some of our favorite places are:

If you're visiting Portland, this is a must-stop on Peter's list!
Forage Market
Some of the only good bagels in Maine, according to Andee's NY/NJ standards. There is a second location on Lisbon Street in our hometown, Lewiston, if you are passing through!
The Local Hub
If you're dropping in from the North or West, or exploring around the South Paris area, this is a cute little spot to stop for some great food. We highly recommend the breakfast sandwiches!
Freeport
If you're making a Maine weekend out of your trip up north, Freeport is a great stop to add. There are outlets, cute local shops, and of course, the flagship L.L. Bean store that's open 24/7. A true Maine must-do! We recommend Tuscan Bistro if you're looking for a good meal to fuel your adventures!
