If you're coming from out of town, thank you for traveling to be with us! Please check out our travel page for information on airports and lodging. As for driving directions to Maine, please listen to Google, not Andee. If you're flying in and having a hard time arranging transport from the airport up to the South Paris area, let us know -- we might have some options for you.
There are a few different options that we recommend: 1. Haven't seen some old friends in a while? We recommend combining forces and finding AirBnBs in the area! Look around Paris, Oxford, Bridgton, and Norway. 2. There are two nearby hotel options which are across the street from each other: the Oxford Casino, and the Hampton Inn. We have a room block at the Hampton Inn bookable until 7/22/2024; mention the Bucciarelli/Talpey wedding when booking. There will be a shuttle running from these hotels to the venue. Book at this link: https://group.hamptoninn.com/ea7eeb 3. If staying al fresco (and for free!) is your thing, there is open field camping available at King's Hill, with access to a shared bath house and showers. Ask us for details!
There is ample parking available at the venue! We will have a shuttle running between the hotels and the venue, but if you'd rather be on your own schedule (and you promise to have a designated driver!), feel free to skip the shuttle and drive yourself to the venue. Parking attendants will be present to direct you when you arrive.
The wedding ceremony will begin at 4:30pm. Please arrive no later than 4:15pm.
If you're staying at either the Oxford Casino or the Hampton Inn, we've got a shuttle for you! The bus will pick up from the Casino 3:30pm, then head to the Hampton Inn. The bus will pick up from the Hampton Inn at 3:45pm, and bring guests to King's Hill. At the end of the night, the bus will depart from King's Hill at 10:00pm, and again at 11:00pm, and drop off at both hotels.
Maine is a beautiful place to be this time of year, so we hope you can take advantage of your time up north! Be sure to pack some layers! Temperatures in our area in September are mild - generally with a high of around 70 - but can dip down to around 50 at night, so you may want something to warm up in the evening.
When we say "cocktail attire," we think cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, and things you'd generally find in the 'wedding guest dress' category when online shopping, as well as pants with shirts and ties. Jackets are welcome, but not required! For shoes, keep in mind that we will be outdoors and on grass. There is a short walk through a wooded path to get to the ceremony, so block heels should be fine for those feeling adventurous, but you should absolutely be comfortable! Peter loves a cowboy boot, so those are always welcome.
We do! We are thrilled that our college friend, Rachel Green, has created a registry on her website for a custom tableware set. Please check that out at rachelgreenpottery.com! We also have some items listed on Zola, available on the 'Registry' tab. If you see something and think to yourself, 'I'd rather buy this locally from a small business that I love,' we think that's wonderful! Please just let us know so we can remove the duplicate online.
As much as we would love to say "yes, absolutely!" we are working with a capacity limit. Your entire party is listed on your invitation and will show up on the RSVP page of this site after you enter your own name.
During cocktail hour and the reception, feel free to take as many pictures as you’d like! During the ceremony, we ask that you kindly put away your phones and be present with us. Our professional photographers will get plenty of pictures as well!
Please let us know whether or not you'll be able to make it by Saturday, July 27, by filling out the form on the RSVP tab of this website!
We absolutely want to know about allergies! Please be sure to include this information when you RSVP.
Let us know! Feel free to reach out to us via email, text, phone, or carrier pigeon.
