Wedding Welcome Hike

Hiking Attire.
Please consider that the hike will be 1,748 ft of elevation over 7.2 miles. More info here: https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/poo-poo-point For those that decide that the hike might not be best for them we will be tailgating at the base with coffee and breakfast for a bit before the hike. As an alternative there is another hike option that is 2 miles and starts at the same trailhead (https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/high-school-trail). Even though we have two events in Issaquah (hike and wedding) we highly recommend our guests stay in Seattle if they have never been to the area. Seattle Public Transportation offers buses from the city to the trailhead. The route for 2025 hasn't been announced but for a rough idea here was the 2024 schedule (https://trailheaddirect.org/issaquah-alps-2024/).
Wedding Welcome Cocktail Hour
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Cocktail Attire: wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, suit jackets, button downs and slacks.
All guests are encouraged to come to the welcome event on Friday. The venue will have a full-service bar with charcuterie, appetizers and desserts. As for the vibe, the venue is a moody, urban, brick wall coffee shop that will be flipped into a bar. Feel free to reference the photo at the top of the schedule page for what to wear but really wear what makes you comfortable!

Shuttle Service

We are creating a separate event for the shuttle service so that everyone can properly rsvp. If you plan to take the shuttle to the ceremony/reception, you need to RSVP so that we can have an appropriate number of buses. The shuttles will be picking people up around 2pm from the Westin downtown Seattle and leaving the venue around 10 pm (the time we have to be out of the venue) and dropping off near our after party. Timing, pickup and drop off locations are subject to change. So check in with the website closer to the date.
Ceremony & Reception
3:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Semi-Formal/Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, floor-length to midi dresses, formal jumpsuits, suits, jackets and slacks.
Trinity Tree Farm has two venues so please make sure you make it to The Lodge (NOT The Barn). There is parking on premises and for those guests that plan to drink, parking overnight is an option as long as your vehicle is gone by 10 am the next morning. However, your best option will likely be the shuttles we will offer to and from downtown Seattle to the venue. As for the vibe of the event we are going for elegant, whimsical, white and light blue. Feel free to reference the photo at the top of the schedule page for what to wear but really wear what makes you comfortable! Please reserve wearing white for the bride.
After Party

We will decide closer to the date what bar(s) we will end up at. This is not a super formal event and will likely be bar hopping for those that want to experience Seattle night life. Periodically check in with the website for more information.
