For our Southern California friends and family, we recommend booking flights with Avelo Air at https://www.aveloair.com/ .  This is a low cost airline that has direct flights from Burbank to Arcata airport every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.  We unfortunately do not have a block of hotel rooms, but suggest looking into AirBnb's in the area and hotels.  Anywhere between Fortuna and Blue Lake are close enough to the venue to drive in about 30 minutes.
