Humboldt County has many outdoor activities that are worth checking out.  We are big fans of hiking the Trinidad Head trail, as well as the Fern Canyon trail.  It is also worth checking out some of our wonderful state parks like Humboldt Redwoods State Park, Prairie Creek State Park and Sue-Meg State Park.  Humboldt is driven by small local businesses, and it is fun to check out our Old Town Eureka filled with small local shops, as well as visiting the Victorian village of Ferndale
