Question

If I'm traveling from out of town, where should I stay?

Answer

See the "Travel & Where to Stay" tab for information on hotel blocks, Airbnb's, and VRBO's!

Question

Will there be a shuttle service from my lodging accommodations, to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes, there will be! The bride and groom are providing this service to ensure everyone gets to and from their accommodations safely! If you have booked, or are planning to book an Airbnb or VRBO, please share the address with the bride and groom to verify the location is in range of the shuttle and venue.

Will there be parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There is a full (unpaved) lot directly next to our ceremony/reception where you can park, and even leave your car overnight if needed. If you choose to leave your car there overnight, the venue asks that you please retrieve it the following morning.

Where are the bride, groom and wedding party staying?

Answer

We're staying on Lake Edward near Merrifield, MN! If you're wanting to stay closeby, we recommend finding an Airbnb or VRBO to be closer to the wedding party and immediate family.

What if I arrive to the ceremony at 4:00pm or later?

Answer

We kindly ask that you wait outside or at the Blacksmith Main, to prevent any disruptions of the ceremony! If you know you can't make it by 4:00pm and still want to attend, we are happy to have you at the reception!

Will we be outside during the ceremony and/or reception?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors, with the potential of an outdoor sparkler send-off in the evening!

When does the Social Hour and Reception start, and where will it be located?

Answer

It starts roughly at 4:30pm, right after the ceremony! Both the Social Hour and Reception will be taking place across the parking lot of the Northern Pacific Center (just a minute's walk away) at Blacksmith Main. See below for address details. Blacksmith Main 210 Blacksmith Cir Brainerd, MN 56401

What should I wear?

Answer

Formal attire will be kindly required! Please refrain from wearing shorts, beach sandals, yoga pants, sweats, tank tops, etc. Cocktail/midi/maxi dresses, skirts, suits, trousers, and button-ups are appreciated!

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

While we adore your children, we want our wedding to be your night off! Due to certain constraints we ask that only people over the age of 13 attend.
