Cory and Cody served as Correctional Officers together since 2014. Between the funniest of moments to the most dangerous, Cory found a brother that would always have his Six. Cody has always been a pure example of a Family Man. Cody, his amazing Wife Amy, and their three beautiful children are an extended family to Cory. Recently, though, Uncle Brenwalt and Aunt Amy are super excited to welcome a new baby brother to their family!

Karli Bean

Karli is the little sister that Amy never knew she was looking for. After meeting through youth group and church activities, Karli and Amy have had many adventures together from New York City bus trips to Thomas Rhett concerts to Nashville bachelorette parties. One thing, though, Karli is always a constant go to for the ups and downs in Amy's life. For a rough day pick me up or a simple weekend evening, Karli and Amy can be found dueling it out in a competitive Dutch Blitz card game!

Sarah was Amy’s best friend through medical school. She is the other half of Amy’s brain in every way! She is always checking out weird rashes in her work life as a dermatologist, and then comes home to be an awesome dog mom to Otis and Buckwheat. Her and her husband, Andy, can often be found lost in the woods or on the river during the weekends.

Cory and Christian first met when they were both beginning their careers as Correctional Officers in 2013. Struggling through the Academy together, They became close friends during their time as fellow officers and have remained close till this day. If they’re not at the range together debating who’s the better shot, they are bickering back and forth about the Red Sox and the Yankees.

Julie is the little sister we never asked for and couldn’t live without. While she may trip going down the aisle, it will be with grace. Amy met Julie through their fall youth retreat at Camp Sonrise Mountain. Julie is always supporting, encouraging, and uplifting while being a mean and competitive Farkel and card player.

Jake Phillips

Cory and Jake became friends while listening to their significant others complain about work and medical hoop-lah. Cory soon discovered that he found the Ice Man to his Maverick when they realized they shared the same Favorite movie Top Gun. Cory and Jake frequently go see War movies that their better halves refuse to go to. Cory will forever be grateful to Jake, for his service to our Country, and continued service to others.

Michele and Taylor are fun-loving and awesome friends to hang out with whether on the lake, at their house on fight night, or at a country music concert. Of note, Amy and Cory started talking online the same weekend as Michele and Taylor’s wedding in 2018.

Adam and Katie are kind hearted and always giving back to their community. They are often found on the weekend at the gun range perfecting their shot or by a bonfire enjoying the peacefulness of nature. They have three crazy cat boys. Adam and Katie made amazing photographers during Cory and Amy’s engagement trip to Cheyenne Frontier Days!

Willow is our Goodest Girl in the house. She enjoys McDonald’s cheeseburgers and rides to the farm. She is protective, loving, and the head dog of the household, so naturally she will be with us on the big day!

Cory wouldn’t want any other than his best boy who is growing up so quickly and is playful as ever. With sounds of a hound and protection of a German Shepard, Axel truly has become our best friend!

Pastor Leon Brown

Leon and his wife Margaret was placed in Cory’s life when he was 18 years old. What Cory didn’t know was the role that God had in store for them in his life. Leon and Margaret quickly became a constant rock of support and love in Cory’s life. He soon looked to Leon and Margaret as a second Father and Mother to him. As they continue to share their wisdom with Cory and now Amy, there is no one else that could fill this big role then Leon and Margaret.
