Medellin is known as the ‘City of Eternal Spring’ for the pleasant weather it presents throughout the year. So, in general, you can wear spring-summer clothes & add a light jacket. Something that has always seemed very beautiful to me about Medellín is its location; Located in a valley surrounded by mountains. For you to better understand, imagine a cup. Picture Medellín located at the bottom of the cup & the mountains are like the walls of the cup. In fact, many people call Medellín “the little silver cup” due to its location and particular shape. Many are wrong about Medellin… The 1990s marked a difficult time for Medellín. Yes, at that time, everything was violence, bombs & drug trafficking; but today it is no longer like that. Obviously, I am not going to say that Medellín is a city where everything is rosy. When you go out on the street, you have to be careful; but in general, the city can be easily navigated without excessive dangers or thieves lurking around every corner.
