This Miami love story went a little like this: Caro was invited by her best friend, Belinda, to go to the Physical Therapy’s tailgate for the University of Miami’s Football game on Saturday, October 5th, 2019. Ironically, the meet up spot was at Josh’s house, but as usual, Caro and Belinda were late and almost missed the bus…but they made it!! The tailgate began at the PT tent but girls being girls, were just walking around meeting up with their friends at different tents. It was the last weekend before Josh and all his classmates would be splitting up for clinical rotations around the state and country; Josh had no intentions of flirting or meeting a girl that day; he was just hoping to catch a game, have some drinks and hang with the boys… 3 hours later, right before the game began, Caro and Belinda went back to the PT tent, where they were greeted by Josh’s best friend, Gabe and a giant bottle of Don Julio. As Caro was taking a shot, all she could hear was a guy in the background talking about his trip to Colombia, and Caro being Caro, quickly turned her head and said, “I’m Colombian!!” Josh quickly approached Caro… and well there hasn’t been a day since that they’ve gone without talking. Josh and Caro watched the entire game together, rode home together on the bus & then parted ways… Josh went with the guys to Hole in the Wall and Caro and Belinda to Flannigans. As Caro walked out of Josh’s house, she told Belinda, “guess I’ll never see him again...” Little did we all know, this was the beginning of it all… there was no playing hard to get for them. Their first date was the following Tuesday, they hung-out again that Thursday, another date on Saturday & the rest is history. Inseparable since 10/05/2019!
