“We met at a church camp. I didn’t know anybody and I remember getting to the girls cabin and being super nervous. I didn’t really talk to anybody just kept to myself. It wasn’t even my church. A sorta friend from school invited me so I was way out of my element. We started a Bible study and I think the leads wanted all the girls to pair up and I remember kinda panicking cuz I didn’t know anybody and then either we got paired together or amber asked me to be her partner. Either way we ended up on a pretty doc together. And we started talking and it was one thing after another we clicked. It was like puzzle pieces fitting together honestly. From then on we were inseparable at camp. After that we stayed in touch for years. She was the reason I moved to ohio. Which ended up getting my whole life started. After all these years I still feel confident to say amberly is the best friend I’ve ever had and honestly I couldn’t imagine ever not having her be that.”

“We first met when Amberly and David were incoming personnel to 7th Group. A friend of mine had let me know, and asked if I was able to help take them to WalMart to get supplies since they didn’t have anything except what they were issued in BCT and AIT. The first time I met them we instantly clicked! We started hanging out, having dinners occasionally and going to the beach. We were also all in the same company, so I saw them almost every day of the week! As time went on, and Amberly and David had Korra, we got even closer, and it’s safe to say Amberly and David are some of the closest friends I have!”
