What’s the dress code?

Answer

Light, bright, and fantasy! This is still a formal event so please dress the part. Think royalty. What makes you feel like a princess, or a prince, shoot even a knight. What would you wear to a fantasy ball? If you’ve seen Bridgerton, you’ve got the right idea. Downton Abbey come to life. Here’s some options to help if you’re still stuck: Dusty pinks, blush pink, sage green, eucalyptus green, baby blue, dusty yellow, creams, darker greens, and khaki. What to AVOID: Avoid shorts, sports shoes, tank tops, anything black or red.

Question

What’s the theme?

Answer

Bridgerton Ball. Lots of flowers and gold decorations. Think classy but cozy. “Cottage core” in a sense. Fantasy come to life.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

YES!! Please do bring your kids. We will have lots of activities for your kiddos and we don’t want you to miss out on Easter Sunday with them. We’re doing our best to make this wedding as kid friendly as possible, even including and Easter egg hunt and a ball pit. The menu is kid friendly and while there is an open bar, there are plenty of virgin drinks so the kiddos feel included. For all the kiddos that want, there will also be a tea party. If you need any accommodations for your kiddo please reach out to David or Amberly!

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Think 50°-70°. Since weather conditions change at the drop of a hat, and nothing is every certain when it comes to temperature, bring layers. We highly suggest to check the weather right before you pack for the trip!

Question

Indoors or outdoors?

Answer

For the most part, indoors. There will be opportunities to go outdoors, but ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be indoors. Pictures and Easter egg hunt will be outdoors for the most part.

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes! The venue has parking on site! If we were to run out of space, all street parking in the area is free.

Question

Will there be food?

Answer

Yes! There will be dinner right before the reception begins. Our “cocktail hour” will be light hors d’oeuvres, mostly coffe, tea, and bread platter.

Question

Will there be drinks?

Answer

There will be an semi-open bar. Each guest will get 2 free alcoholic drinks, the rest will be on the guest. All alcohol free beverages are unlimited. The venue does not allow outside alcohol inside.
