Luckily, Bliss Ridge stayed nice and dry! We do not anticipate any flood related issues but we are not out of the woods yet as there is continued rain in the days leading up to the wedding. Check for road closures here: https://newengland511.org/region/Vermont
Please RSVP by May 31st 2023. If you planned to attend but something comes up (life happens), please let us know as soon as you can!
The ceremony will begin at 3pm.
Look sharp and have fun. While it's impossible to predict Vermont weather, we expect July 22nd to be hot. We recommend that you dress in a way that won't cause you to pass out during the ceremony and we will do the same. We have a plan to stay dry if it rains. This is a VT barn wedding with rustic surfaces to match. Sensible shoes are encouraged. Wear what makes you comfortable and won't cause you problems if the dance floor isn't perfectly flat (it's not).
You all have many amazing kids we love. So many, in fact, that we wouldn't be able to invite a lot of you if they all came. Please plan to find alternate arrangements for the kiddos. Let us know if you are traveling and would appreciate help in finding childcare. To support our nursing mamas, we will have a private, comfortable space to pump next to the barn.
Our menu will be built to accommodate as many dietary restrictions as we are aware of. You will be able to pick and choose whatever works for you, at whatever quantity. Expect to see a variety of options, and let us know if you have significant dietary concerns.
We encourage all of our guests to be vaccinated, for many reasons. However, understanding that this may not be the case, we request that all attendees test 1-2 days before the wedding. Please take care to keep each other safe and stay home if you're ill. For guests who are uncomfortable indoors without a vaccine mandate, we totally understand. There is plenty of space outdoors to enjoy, listen to music, dance, eat and be generally merry.
That's not a question. It is stressful, though, but not at our wedding. There is plenty of parking next to the barn. Don't worry about parking, anxious pals. (-Amara)
Excellent question! The answer is no (well, maybe some very poor service). So, please plan accordingly if you are planning to use your phone for directions!
