Maid of Honor
Monica was my college roommate after bonding over our same haircut and a love for all things Notre Dame. She is a humble genius, the best "how did we just talk & drink wine for this long?" visitor, and a sister to me. Monica just crushed her first of many marathons, so she will be a big help "running" our big day!
Best Man
Tom and I met during our grad school days at Ohio State and quickly bonded over trivia, golf, karaoke, and basically anything related to Olympic sports. Tom is the life of any party and you will absolutely see him tearing it up on our wedding’s dance floor.
Bridesmaid
Michelle and I shared the same college major, study abroad experience in London, and first jobs in Kansas City. Through those experiences and beyond, she is a kind-hearted friend who makes everyone feel special and at-home. Michelle is a great traveler and baker, so we're excited for her review of the Philly soft pretzel scene.
Groomsman
Sean not only speaks my language (transportation engineering), but has been a great friend in Arlington, VA, who is always down to have a good time. When he isn't out running marathons, Sean is a brewery connoisseur, so we'll be sure to get his take on Overbrook's IPA.
Bridesmaid
Stephanie already feels like a sister to me (Amanda) and is someone we both greatly admire. She balances her career as a physician with travels with her family, impressive baking skills, and a great sense of humor. Stephanie went to undergrad at Villanova (near our venue), so be sure to ask her for some local recommendations.
Groomsman
Daniel married my sister Stephanie in 2019, and I'm lucky to have him as a brother-in-law. He keeps Amanda and I up-to-date with all the latest tech trends and everything happening in the world of European soccer. Daniel hails from Dallas, so we'll see if he busts out some Texas two-steppin' at our reception.
Bridesmaid
Gina is nearly "officially" my sister-in-law, as she's marrying Brendan in March 2023. Gina's laughter is infectious, and she's a gem for embracing Frick family shenanigans. She's also a pop culture guru and proud dog-mom to Otis, who unfortunately is not invited to our wedding and will be tuning in from "his" beautiful home in Santa Monica.
Groomsman
Brendan, Amanda's middle brother, was her "dating consultant,” and I'm glad he gave his approval. Brendan is super witty and creative (ask him about his Fantasy Football alter ego) and has been a great host for us in NYC and now Santa Monica, where, after his workday, he is upping his sand volleyball game & learning to surf. His marriage advice: "hang ten!"
Bridesmaid
Alex and I met in preschool and survived our awkward teenage years together in West Chester, PA. I've always loved Alex's compassion for others (especially her friends & students!) and hilarious sense of humor. Alex is incredibly musically talented, so we’ll defer to her for any dancefloor karaoke.
Groomsman
Colin, the youngest Frick, is super easy to get along with and always is up for a good debate, ranging across the board from college sports to speed chess to his takes on musicals. We love visiting Colin in Austin, and expect him to request many songs from Hamilton at our wedding reception.
Mother of the Bride
My mom is my best friend and a huge contributor to planning our wedding. You can tell I have always wanted to be like her based on my wedding choice -- the same church and reception venue where she was a bride! Anne is the kindest person and cares so deeply for all who are lucky to be in her life.
Mother of the Groom
My mom is an inspiring person dedicated to her nursing career and various volunteer leadership roles. In our family, she's almost to my level of competitiveness when it comes to sports, and she's the best host of "Peg's Party Palace" - always celebrating her loved ones and putting family first. Grateful to you, Mom!
Father of the Bride
My dad never fails to make me smile. He has made so many memories for our family and continues to bring joy to all our visits. Jef gives great life and career advice, inspires you to do big things ("visit all 50 states"), and will talk to you at our wedding for hours if you're an ND football fan.
Father of the Groom
My dad has been an awesome and important guiding presence in my life. His love of family, lifelong learning, and boating have definitely inspired my interests and personality, too. Herb loves diner food, so be sure to find him if you’re craving some east coast scrapple!
