Flight
Pearson is the largest airport in Toronto and getting downtown is really easy! See below for more information.
Flight
Billy Bishop operates Porter Airlines and is conveniently located in downtown Toronto. Flights to and from here are generally cheaper than to/from Pearson, but there are less options and starting destinations. Newark Airport flies to and from Billy Bishop and it's an easy Uber, Lyft, or cab ride to wherever you are staying from there!
Hotel
We have not booked a hotel block for guests, as the location options were not ideal. There are several hotels downtown from the standard Marriott to bougie Shangri-La and everything in between. If you need assistance in finding accommodations, please reach out to me or Petar!
House Or Rental
There are so many options in Toronto for Airbnb and this will probably be your most financially savvy choice for accommodations for the weekend. From practical to unique and funky, you'll find what suits your needs!
Train
This train will conveniently take you from Pearson Airport to Union Station in downtown Toronto and back to the airport when the weekend is over. It runs on a very frequent schedule and costs around ~$13.00 one way for a standard fare.
Train
Ah, the TTC. Toronto's transportation system, which will, for the most part, get you to where you need to go. There are subway, streetcar, and bus systems and the standard fare is $3.25 with a 2-hour transfer, so you can ride in any direction, hop on and off for 2 hours with one fare. Tokens are no longer sold or accepted, so you will need to use a nifty Presto machine to buy 1 or 2-fare passes!
Travel Note
Uber and Lyft both exist as well as cabs. All cabs accept credit cards.
