Dublin Airport
Mount Juliet Estate is located in Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny which is a 90 mile (1.5 hour) trip from Dublin. We recommend flying into Dublin Airport (book soon for the best ticket prices!) which offers direct flights from various US cities. For the most efficient version of the trip (though we're happy to suggest a more leisurely itinerary!) plan to depart on Thursday, November 7th from your city of origin, landing in Dublin on Friday, November 8th. We suggest booking your return for Monday, November 11th (Veteran's Day). Return flights typically depart in the morning or at the latest midday so this schedule will give you plenty of time to make your way back to Dublin without having to wake up early the morning after the wedding.

Getting to Kilkenny and to Mount Juliet Estate
Once you've landed in Dublin, the town of Kilkenny can be easily reached by train (a 1.5 hour trip) and you can then take a 20 minute cab ride (you can order a cab through the Uber app) to Mount Juliet in Thomastown. If you'd rather drive directly to Kilkenny or to Thomastown if you’re staying at Mount Juliet, rental cars are inexpensive and easily accessible at Dublin Airport (get ready to drive on the left and enjoy views of the prettiest sheep farms you've ever seen)! We are also planning to provide van transport from Dublin Airport to Mount Juliet and Kilkenny on the morning of Friday, November 8th and back to Dublin Airport from Mount Juliet and Kilkenny on the morning of Monday, November 11th. Please let us know if you're interested when you RSVP so we can gauge numbers and timing! At Mount Juliet or in Kilkenny you won't need to worry about transportation unless you'd like the freedom of a car to explore nearby sights on your own! Mount Juliet Estate is where all wedding events on Saturday, November 9th and Sunday, November 10th will be taking place. We recommend booking ASAP if you would like to stay at the estate (we highly recommend it)! For those of you not in the Mount Juliet block (reserved for family and the wedding party), feel free to use the discount code below for booking.
