Explore Kilkenny
Pop into town and explore its pubs, restaurants, shops, and historic sites (including Kilkenny Castle)! Note: our welcome evening will be held at a pub in the city of Kilkenny as well so you'll get a little taste of it regardless. The link below will provide you with even more Kilkenny-related ideas. Mount Juliet will happily arrange transport into town for non-wedding excursions if you don't have a car.
Golf
Play a game at Mount Juliet's Jack Nicklaus Signature Designed Parkland course across 180 acres of rolling Irish countryside. Fun fact: the Irish Open was hosted here in 2021 and 2022. Bring layers and warmer/waterproof gear since Irish November weather can be brisk or rainy. Feel free to reach out to Mount Juliet to book your tee time!
Falconry
We haven't done this one ourselves yet, but we hear that a falcon perches on your arm and you get to interact with a master falconer, too, while exploring Mount Juliet's beautiful grounds. Long sleeves recommended (for obvious reasons)! Book at the link!
