Just over 6 years ago, Amanda and Evan met at a birthday party (shoutout Ryan!) at the infamous Domar thanks to her good friend Jordan Landreth. When Amanda moved back from Oklahoma, she didn't have very many friends to hang out with. When she (and Gary and Cecilia) finally couldn't take it anymore, Jordan took her under her wing and did what all 20 something year old girls do: head to a house party. Evan was living at said house and was one of the masterminds trying to get the new girl Amanda to (Smirnoff) Ice the birthday boy. Spoiler Alert: it didn't work; Ryan didn't fall for it. But Amanda did fall for Evan (cringe). Over the coming months was a series of group hangouts (Oktoberfest, Halloween, etc.) where flirtation grew until Evan finally asked her on a date to trivia at St. Stephens Green. A quick move to San Francisco then a longer one across the country led them to their new life and new house in Atlanta.
