I vividly remember the very first time I saw Alex. He walked into the Church Health Center on his first day, and I was his trainer - what a long day! Alex was very nervous; I can only imagine this was due to my overwhelming charm. I recall telling our coworker at the end of the day, "That new guy gave me a migraine." Alex's humor and good nature ultimately won me over, and we became good friends, hanging out after work nearly every day. We eventually became more than friends, to no one's surprise. Over the next nine years, we've continued to grow as best friends, with Alex only occasionally giving me a migraine! I am so lucky to get to be with this fun-loving, goofy, supportive, sweet guy forever! Amanda does not remember the first time we met. We met weeks earlier when I was on my interview day at the Church Health Center. She was working at the check-out desk in the front lobby, and someone was showing me around and introducing me to everyone. She immediately gave me a migraine. Just kidding...but we soon became very close friends and roughly a year later, we started dating. I remember our first official day of dating as very eventful. The Grizzlies lost Game 7, and Regina's date got pooped on by a dove at her daughter's wedding. The rest is history. We have continued to grow as a couple with constant laughter, lots of medical training, and maybe a beer or two. I am lucky to have found my soulmate and can't wait to start this new chapter.
