Windansea Beach

This is where we got engaged, if you look to the left of the beach hut on the rocks you will see where Aaron got down on one knee

Sunset Cliffs Natural Park

Just a short walk along the coast from our venue you can walk down the cliffs onto the beach to enjoy incredible views along the coast and depending on the tide there are even tide pools to explore

La Jolla Cove

Iconic beach cove filled with seals and sea lions, also can explore the sea caves, snorkel, and kayak

Fletcher Cove Beach Park

This beach is a bit farther north but worth the drive to find a quiet, secluded beach along the bluffs with cliffs lining the entire beach. This is also close to one of our favorite taco shops - Rudy’s Taco Shop, so definitely grab a bite if you venture up this way!

One of our favorite must haves for fresh seafood, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Aaron definitely recommends the clam chowder bread bowl

Great brunch / breakfast options but also open for lunch + dinner, multiple locations, we love the PB location, but there is also one in Liberty Station

Bird Rock Coffee Roasters - La Jolla

One of the more popular coffee shops in the area due to its many locations. Our favorite shop is the one in La Jolla at its namesake - Bird Rock

Coffee & Tea Collective

This is Aaron’s favorite shop in San Diego with the best pour over coffee in the area - located in the North Park neighborhood about 15 minutes from the venue

Communal Coffee

There are a few locations, but we always go to the North Park location. The shop also has a cute boutique attached. We love their coffee, matcha and definitely recommend trying their breakfast options especially the different seasonal toasts!
