We first met in early high school and quickly became best friends. We officially started dating our junior year of high school and the next 10 years are history. From college together at ASU, to both of us pursuing graduate degrees in medical school and PA school, to growing our family and welcoming Nugget.

It was after our first month of long distance, with Aaron in California for the summer on his medical school orthopedic surgery rotations. Some of our closest friends had planned a vacation in San Diego for the 4th of July weekend. We were catching the sunset along one of our favorite beaches - Windansea in La Jolla - and while standing out on the rocks, next thing I know he was down on one knee. I said YES and turned around to see our friends and Nugget standing up on the cliff behind us cheering.
