Always go to the original, with the iconic milk bottle building. Colin recommends anything with Oreos.
In Colorado Springs, this zoo sits on the side of a mountain. The views are incredible. Make sure the weather is good and get lots of pictures feeding one of their 14 giraffes. There is a road through the zoo making this zoo very accessible.
Like beer? Well this is heaven. Take a 30 minute tour through the brewery and see the whole process. In their tasting room, they serve free beer.
Consistently voted in the top 10 best wing restaurants in the United States. They have unique flavors, and some seriously spicy ones too. The wings are always excellent. Colin likes the bourbon chipotle, and Amanda likes the hot buffalo.
Denver has so many that it's hard to pick just one. Google breweries and pick one that looks fun. You won't be disappointed. Personal favorites are vanilla porter at Dry Dock, the Kosmonaut at Launch Pad, and the lager at Great Divide.
Colin loves aquariums and Denver has a good one. It takes about an hour and half to complete and sits right off downtown.
A giant three story wonderland, complete with huge dinosaurs, tons of space exploration, and much more. This will take anywhere from 1.5 hours to 3 hours to complete.

A two hour drive from Denver, Rocky Mountain National Park has breath taking views, scenic roads, and great hikes. The views from Bear Lake (never seen a bear there, only a moose once), are out of a story book.
There are lots of little mountain towns along I-70. Breck is one of the most popular with a great main street of shops and food. The mountain is open to take up to the top for some amazing views. with weather/ski season permitting.
Higher end sushi in a modern restaurant. Amanda has celebrated a few birthday dinners here.
A rooftop patio bar and restaurant that over looks all of downtown Denver.
