Which Neighborhood To Stay In

Welcome to the wonderful and confusing city of Los Angeles! We are so excited to celebrate with all of you in this city we now call home. For those of you coming from out of town, we recommend staying in an area where you would like to spend time. Luckily the reception is in West Hollywood, which is filled with great restaurants, bars, coffee shops and more. It is one of the more walkable neighborhoods in LA and is in a central part of the city. From West Hollywood it takes roughly the same amount of time to get to the Santa Monica Pier as it does to get to the Silver Lake Reservoir. If you are trying to get some beach time, drive the PCH, visit the Getty, hike in Malibu, or stroll down the boardwalk or pier, then the west side is for you. If you are looking to explore Griffith Park or Griffith Observatory, pop into fun and funky shops, or walk down Sunset Boulevard in the metro's locus point of millennials and hipsters, you'll want to stay on the east side. Folks say the east side is the Brooklyn of LA and when they say Brooklyn of LA, they mean the Williamsburg/Bushwick of LA.

Flight

LAX

Most destinations have direct flights into LAX. If you are renting a car, a short shuttle ride will take you to the rental car hub directly from baggage claim.

Flight

Hollywood Burbank Airport

Burbank is a much smaller airport. It has fewer direct flight options than LAX and can be more expensive. If you plan on staying on the east side, flying into Burbank makes things much easier. It is a very small airport so you're in and out quickly.
