Can I bring a Plus One?

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

I can't make it. Now what?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Are children welcome?

Answer

We love your kids too, but we think we would all have more fun (kids included) if they did not attend. Consider it a parents' weekend away! We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

What should I wear?

I guess the correct term is "dressy casual", but as long as you don't show up naked, you won't be turned away.

What about parking?

Answer

There will be free parking in the Lyric Theater lot and on the street. Please see this link (https://www.lexingtonlyric.com/lyricparking.html) for details. While there should be plenty of parking, we encourage you to carpool or use a rideshare service to and from the venue if at all possible!

The ceremony will be outside in a paved courtyard. No need to worry about ruining your heels if you decide to wear them. The reception will be inside at the same location. There will not be much walking from one to the next.

Both the reception and ceremony are wheelchair accessible. The only walking we will be doing is from outside to inside.

Photos and Social Media

Answer

We would like to have an "unplugged" ceremony, to allow our photographer to get the best shots possible. The reception is fair game! Please use the hashtag #theharrisesgethitched when you post them on social media, so that we can find and see them as well!
