What is the dress code?
Answer
We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress code is black-tie optional. Gowns are welcome for ladies along with midi or floor-length formal dresses. Tuxedos are welcome for gentlemen along with suits and ties (please no jeans). Color is welcome!

Can I bring a date?
Answer
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Are kids invited?
Answer
We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception as an adults-only event with the exception of immediate family. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

How should I get to the Chicago Botanic Gardens?
Answer
Transportation between the Chicago Botanic Garden and the Westin and Rennaissance hotels will be provided on Saturday. The Courtyard is an 8 minute walk from the Renaissance and guests staying there can also use the transportation! Feel free to get to the gardens early to explore Shuttle schedule: Departures: 3:30 departure from Renaissance Hotel to Chicago Botanic Garden 3:45 departure from Courtyard Marriott to Chicago Botanic Garden 5pm departure from Westin North Shore to Chicago Botanic Garden Returns: 9:30pm departure from Chicago Botanic Garden to Westin North Shore 10:10 departure from Chicago Botanic Garden to Westin North Shore 10:50 departure from Chicago Botanic Garden to Westin North Shore 11:00: departure from Chicago Botanic Garden to The Renaissance Downtown and Courtyard Marriott 11:30 departure from Chicago Botanic Garden to Westin North Shore and The Renaissance Downtown Free parking is also availabe at the garden, just mention the Straube/Pircon wedding at the gates.
