Albany International Airport (ALB)

Albany International Airport is the easiest airport to navigate — a small regional (though international, mostly from Canada) airport. It’s very easy to rent a car there and a beautiful 2-hour drive to Spillian.

Newark Airport (EWR)

Newark Liberty International Airport is about 2.5 hours from Spillian by car. You can find options for public transportation here that will take you from the airport to Rhinecliff Train Station. If you take the train, you’ll need to get from Rhinecliff Train Station to Spillian.

LaGuardia Airport (LGA)

La Guardia Airport is closer to Manhattan than JFK and offers bus service into the city into Port Authority Bus Terminal (8th Ave and W 42nd Street), so you could catch an Adirondack/Pine Hill Trailways bus from there.

John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK)

John F. Kennedy International Airport is a little farther away from Manhattan than LaGuardia, but offers train service directly to Penn Station, where you could pick up a train to Rhinecliff Train Station. If you take the train, you’ll need to get from Rhinecliff Train Station to Spillian.

New York Stewart International Airport is about 77 miles away from Spillian and could provide a more local option for flight connections.

By Train

If you’re considering traveling by train, Amtrak and Metro-North both service numerous stops, such as Rhinecliff Train Station, along the Hudson River, after which you’ll need to take a taxi to get to Fleischmanns.

By Bus

If traveling by bus, your best bet is Adirondack/Pine Hill Trailways, which stops in Fleischmanns at Sam’s Country Store. The stop is a few blocks away from Spillian — walkable, but a little bit of a hike.

The Inn building houses 8 uniquely configured rooms that accommodate 2, 3 or 4 guests. A quaint sitting area is available to play games, read a book or enjoy a morning cup of coffee, and a bar is also attached. The Chalet building is home to 14 guestrooms. These spacious rooms each have a balcony overlooking the mountains and many rooms have a kitchenette. All rooms in the chalet building are pet friendly, though not the Inn.
