Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We know your kids are awesome, but due to space restrictions, we cannot accommodate guests under the age of 18 on our wedding day.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Casual dressy… Basically, be comfortable, but not TOO casual. Please no jeans, hoodies, beanies, T-shirts, etc.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony begins at 4:30 pm; please arrive around 4-4:15 to get seated and settled before the I do’s.

Will the ceremony and/or reception take place outdoors?

Answer

Ceremony - Yes, weather pending… Although a little rain never hurt anyone. Reception - No; the reception will be held in the Bicentennial Barn. Ladies, the outdoor ceremony space is paved and you won’t have to travel through grass to get there… Wear those heels if you so choose!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Typically, May in Ohio has temperatures around the mid-seventies to low-fifties. Obviously we’re not sure what the weather will be like on the particular day this far out, but we’ll be monitoring!

Answer

4-4:15pm - Guests arrive 4:30pm - Ceremony 4:45-5:45pm - Cocktail hour/family photos 6pm - Entrances 6:10pm - Dinner 7pm - Toasts 7:15pm - Cake/desserts 7:30pm - First dance 7:45pm - Parent dances 8-10:20pm - Party! 10:25pm - Private last dance 10:30pm - Reception Ends

Is there parking available at the Barn?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of room for parking at the venue to accommodate everyone!

What type of food/drink will be served during cocktail hour?

Answer

Food: twice baked potatoes, bruschetta, jalapeño corn dip, veggie tray Alcohol: wine, vodka, tequila, and possibly bourbon Other: water, lemonade, sweet/unsweet tea

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes.

Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?

Answer

We will not be booking hotel room blocks; we have listed 5 different hotels on our Travel page that are closer to the venue or closer to us.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

No, just no. We have hired two photographers to capture this day for us; we know that phones have become so important to us (almost like a lifeline), but please refrain from using them during the ceremony. There will be signs posted and our DJ will make an announcement prior to the start of the ceremony. During the reception, please break those phones out and snap away!

Answer

While we wish you could be here, we will not have a virtual celebration.

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience.

Will there be any other events to attend during the wedding weekend?

Answer

We will not be hosting any other events that weekend.

When will the reception end? Will there be an after party?

Answer

The reception will end at 10:30 pm. ALL GUESTS MUST BE OFF THE PROPERTY NO LATER THAN MIDNIGHT. As for the after party… Let us know who’s planning and buying the drinks!
