How should I get to and from the venue if I'm not staying on-site at the Lodge?
Answer
We will be providing a shuttle for wedding guests not staying on-site before our ceremony and after the reception from the Best Western in Saranac Lake where we have an additional room block (please see 'Hotel' section of our website for more details). Please note you do NOT have to be staying at the Best Western to ride the shuttle however that is the only pick-up and drop-off location the shuttle will be making. We will have two drop-off shuttle time options back to the Best Western for guests that want to return to the hotel immediately after our reception ends and later in the night for guests who want to continue celebrating with us at Peak 47! Stay tuned for details regarding shuttle times and logistics. PLEASE NOTE: Ubers and Lyfts are NOT guaranteed especially if guests choose to stay in more rural areas around Lake Placid.

If I choose to drive is parking available for wedding guests not staying on-site?

Yes! There is valet parking available at the Whiteface Lodge for wedding guests not staying on-site. Please have a designated driver!

Unless your invitation is specifically addressed to your significant other or 'and guest' then we kindly ask that you attend solo.

Are children invited to the wedding?
Answer
Unless specifically indicated on your invitation, children are not invited to the wedding. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to share our big day and will enjoy having the evening off!

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Our desired wedding dress code is cocktail attire. Cocktail attire is a balance between elegant and comfortable. To an event with this dress code, such as a wedding, men typically wear a suit and tie while women wear a cocktail or longer dress.
