It was your standard love story. Girl swipes right, boy swipes right, boy messages girl, girl messages boy, boy asks girl out on a date, girl agrees, and the rest is history. Allison and Micah met in June 2021 and their chemistry was apparent quickly. For Micah, it clicked when he arrived at their third date drenched (who orders Ubers when public transportation is an option) and Allison just laughed, rolled her eyes, and said “can I wait till the end of the date to hug you?” For Allison, it was a McDonald’s breakfast on a rooftop overlooking the city for only someone truly special could have her thinking that was a great date. Later that summer, they were falling in love to the beat of the music at a Brett Eldridge concert. Both are the youngest children in their families, and both entered into sales careers - two strong-willed negotiators. However, they each have their own areas of expertise and are willing to let the other maximize their skillset. Allison will be a passenger princess on road trips and will maintain the plant life at home; Micah will handle the navigation in all circumstances and lets Allison expand his horizons in cuisine. Allison likes to say that she and Micah are connected as if they share one mind. Allison enjoys a game where she guesses what gifts Micah is getting her or where he is planning to take her on a surprise date. Much to Micah’s chagrin, she is right about 99% of the time. But Micah still had a few tricks up his sleeve and was able to surprise her by proposing at the spot where he had asked Allison to be his girlfriend. We are thrilled you all can make it to celebrate the next chapter of our love story. We are so excited you are here, we are excited to get married, and we are excited to dance the night away. P.S. If you do not already have the words to Mr. Brightside by The Killers memorized, it's time to brush up on the lyrics.
