Horicon Marsh National Wildlife Refuge is a beautiful wetland brimming with birds, turtles, frogs, and other wildlife. In October, it may be lit up with gorgeous fall colors.

America's Little Switzerland! A unique downtown replete with chalet architecture, shops, and dining. This is where Jake's dad, Mitch, grew up!

New Glarus

New Glarus's famous, award-winning brewery deserves a special mention. Current hours are 10AM-5PM, weekdays only, so if you're arriving on Friday it's worth the trip!

Found on Madison's Capitol Square on Saturday morning, this huge outdoor farmer's market is a chance to sample delicious local foods. If you're looking for the freshest Wisconsin cheese, you'll find it here.
