Yes, all guests will be required to have proof of up-to-date vaccination against COVID-19, including the latest boosters if eligible. All staff at the venue have been vaccinated. If you cannot show proof of vaccination if requested by staff or the bride and groom, you will be turned away on-site. Please note that this is in an effort to protect people with pre-existing conditions, small children, and those traveling internationally. Thank you for your understanding.
We request that all guests self-administer a COVID-19 at-home rapid test prior to attending the festivities. If you have any symptoms whatsoever, including cough, fever, or abnormal body aches, we request that you stay home regardless of the outcome of an at-home rapid test, as they often show a false negative due to new variants. If possible, we ask that you receive a PCR test from a testing site in the days leading up to the wedding.
No. Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place outdoors. The reception venue has large doors, fans, and space heaters to allow for continuous air circulation. Combined with adherence to our testing and vaccine requirements, we believe heightened circulation should negate the need for masking.
If possible, we'd love to see our guests dressed in formal Hawaiian attire: mu'u mu'us, button-down Aloha shirts, etc. Otherwise, typical wedding wear is more than acceptable. Please note that October in Wisconsin can range from balmy 60-degree days to sub-freezing temperatures, with rain, snow, and ice all a possibility. Keep an eye on the forecast and pack accordingly!
Dinner will be buffet-style, catered by an award-winning Hawaiian restaurant near Milwaukee. There are vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Please let us know ahead of time if you have any food allergies or other dietary restrictions.
