Where can we rent a car?

Please take a look at our travel tab on our website - We have provided a direct link to rental cars at the Kona International Airport. There is also a great app called TURO that is another platform to rent cars on the island!

We recommend flying into Kona International Airport (KOA).

Are there Ubers or Lyfts?

Answer

Unfortunately, there are very limited Ubers or Lyfts on the island. We do not recommend using either platform to travel far. Depending on where you stay, it might be best to rent a car or use a hotel shuttle.

We are excited to share a discount code at the Mauna Lani Auberge resort. However, you do not have to stay here - Mauna Lani has Airbnb’s, VRBO’s & other hotels available. There are plenty of great areas to stay near by - Please see some additional locations below: - Waikoloa - 15 minute drive - Kona - 40 minute drive

Where can we park at the venue?

Answer

If you are a guest at the hotel, there will be a parking lot available. If you are planning to drive to the hotel on Wedding Day, there is a valet service available to all guests.

What should we wear to the wedding?

Answer

The wedding will be formal attire - Summer colors are encouraged! - Gentlemen, please feel free to wear dark or light suits, linen suits, etc. - Ladies, please feel free to wear summer gowns or cocktail dresses Please note: the wedding ceremony will be held on the beach & the reception will be held on a grass lawn.
