Pre-ceremony - cash bar opens at 3 PM. Post-ceremony - There will be "open" beer and wine with all other alcoholic drinks available for purchase from the full bar at Forest House Lodge. Also, just a friendly reminder to bring cash to tip your bartenders!
Dress code is semi formal. To all my fellow ladies that overthink their outfit: the bridesmaids will be wearing sage green, but wear any color you like(except white); the ceremony is outdoors and in grass, so keep that in mind when choosing shoes.
Due to capacity issues, we would like to limit the number of kids in attendance; however, we do understand that those traveling long distances may not have that option. We want you to feel relaxed and enjoy your evening. If that means getting a sitter and enjoying a night out, that's great! If, however, that means bringing your kid(s) with you, then they are welcome! We will have a kid's meal available as well as a designated, supervised play area set up for all kids during the ceremony through cocktail hour until they rejoin the party for dinner and dancing.
Yes, we would love to encourage everyone to participate in a book exchange! If you would like to participate, please bring a gently used copy of your favorite book, swap it out for another, and enjoy your next great read.
There is semi limited parking, so please carpool as much as possible.
The venue is in a very rural mountain town and will likely not have any rideshare options so please plan accordingly and drink responsibly.
We have hired an excellent photographer and videographer team, so please feel rest assured that they will capture the moment and you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the moment.
