As I recall it, we actually met about 20 years ago. I went to a house party with my girlfriend, Reanna and Chad was a guest there as well. I almost immediately noticed Chad and was definitely interested but played it cool. Eventually, we made contact with each other and exchanged numbers and went on a few dates, yet unfortunately, our paths took us down different roads and we stopped talking. Now fast forward to late 2019, I'm newly single and ready to mingle, LOL! I ran across his number in an old phone of mine and decided to give him a call not expecting anything to come out of it and this man was so excited to hear from me (who wouldn't be). We talked on the phone for months without actually making plans to see each other until January 1, 2020. I invited him to my house for a New Year's Day party that I was having and since that day, we've been working towards becoming one!

We met about 20 years ago at a house party that a good friend of mine was having. I was talking to a buddy of mine when I noticed this slender young woman in the kitchen talking to her friend and I made a reason to go get a small drink hoping we would see each other. My plan worked and she smiled at me and said hello. We spoke a few words before exchanging numbers and dated for a few months. As God would have it, it was not our time and we went our separate ways until late 2019 when I received a text from her asking how life was and what my relationship status was. Luckily, I was single and was excited to hear that she was too. So we talked off and on for a few months and went on a few dates and then I soon realized that this woman was everything that I had been looking for in every woman I had met prior. She stole my heart and became the sole reason I smile every day and night. I prayed and my heart and soul told me that this woman was God sent and to listen to the love that had been formed and spend the rest of my life with a woman that I could truly call my best friend and soulmate. And now we are here prepping for forever.
