Matron of Honor
Sam and I met in 2010 at South Dakota School of Mines, where Sam was my RA. We both joined the same sorority in the same class and became close friends over our college careers. After college, Sam and I maintained our friendship and visit each other when we can. Sam is my best friend and will always be there for me to plant a tree and get crunk. I’m so happy to have this girl standing next to me on this very important day.
Best Man
Johnathon and I met in Amarillo way back in 2009 and have been friends ever since. This friendship has grown through many joys and struggles. Johnathon has been my co-captain on many adventures, and has shown me how to enjoy life by not being a stick in the mud. This is the reason I have chosen Johnathan to stand by my side as the best man.
Bridesmaid
Amanda is my older, wiser (well at least she thinks so) sister. Like most siblings we were known to a squabble or two as we were growing up, but we became closer as we grew out of our terrible teen years. When we hang out, we enjoy driving around singing at the top of our lungs, checking out places in Nashville for a craft beer or two, and tubing down the Red River in Tennessee. Amanda is the only sister I would ever ask for and I am so happy to have her with me on my wedding day!
Groomsman
My older and slightly less good looking brother. I am very fortunate to have a solid friendship with my brother who has loved me every day. Even though in the early days where he tried to convince me it was all his fault. My greatest memories of my brother is when we pretended to be X-men in the backyard while growing up. I am grateful to have him by my side as I start a new chapter in my life
Bridesmaid
Cassie and I also met in college where she was also part of the same sorority as Sam and I. We lived together in the sorority house briefly where Cassie was the property manager. I would often go with Cassie to get the weekly groceries for the sorority house and get into other shenanigans with her at fraternity parties. Cassie and I later lived together for a year in a house and grew closer together in that year, mostly because that place was ghetto. Cassie is always a shoulder to lean on, someone to talk to endlessly about what’s going on in my life, and will help make my special day a little more special.
Groomsman
My cousin Chad Scroggins. Chad and I are two peas in a pod. While growing up if there was anything that could get us in trouble we did it. After drifting apart through high school, Chad and I reconnected by accident. Chad has asked me to be the godfather of his children, and has supported me through thick and thin. This is why he will be standing beside me on the best day of my life.
