The Wedding Website of Alexandra Fowler and Mark Belcher
Welcome to the Land of Enchantment New Mexico is a very special place and we are excited for you to experience it. Alex lived in NM for 33 years until she moved to Boston, MA for work and met Mark, her person. When Mark came to NM for the first time during Christmas 2023, he immediately fell in love with it and even questioned Alex why she would ever leave such a beautiful place. Mark proposed to the Alex in the foothills at the base of the Sandia Mountains, her favorite place to hike and capture an gorgeous view of the city and unique sunset. Sandia is spanish for watermelon. The Sandia Mountains get their name from the beautiful warm pink colors from the sunset that reflect onto the mountains. Hence, NM is the reason why we want to share our day with the people we love, in the place that holds a very special place in our hearts forever.
