The Wedding Website of Alexandra Trager and Kenton Rivas
Welcome to Santa Barbara, a town full of culture and history. There is so much for you to do here depending on the traveler and vacation you are looking for: relaxing on the beach with a cooler full of cold ones, wine tasting in town or in the Santa Ynez Valley, biking, hiking in the mountains behind town, or going to the Islands. The world is your oyster. Alex grew up in Santa Barbara and will share her and her family's favorite things to do. Kenton and Alex now live 30 mins south of SB in Ventura, a beach town that has just as much to offer.

The Funk Zone

The Funk Zone the best spot for "quick" wine and beer tasting. This former industrial area has been turned into a wine trail without having to travel to Santa Ynez. (though if you have time and a car, that trip is highly recommended. The Funk Zone has several food options and is a short walk to the beach and to many more restaurants.

East Beach is a nice beach to hang out at. At the far east end are volleyball courts open to public. Take on a future Olympian (and a number of former ones). The courts are right outside of the zoo! Fun Fact: Alex and her younger brother did Jr. Life Guards as kids on this beach, swimming and running along the beach! The Cabrillo Pavilion has a nice restaurant.
