Is this a kid friendly wedding?

Kenton and I love your kids! But, we see this as a night to bond with you. We want you to dance, relax and enjoy.

Is there transportation to and from the wedding?

Answer

Santa Barbara is an easy town to get around with a car or an Uber/Lyft. Most of the hotels are on the same street or near the zoo. So we will not be having transportation to and from the zoo.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for woman is to impress us with your most elegant polished beach dress, but make it fun! Men, rock the short sleeve Cubavera/Guayabera shirt, linen pants and Panama hat paired with a Cuban cigar. Please leave your tie at home. We love colors and glam. Please remember while the weather is usually mid 70’s during the day in September, the nights are cool. The Zoo is close to the ocean and gets an ocean breeze. We highly recommend that you bring a light sweater or wrap. Ladies, this a grass venue so please keep that in mind with your shoes!

Is the wedding and reception at the same place?

Answer

YES! No need to move. Everything is right there at the zoo! All events are outdoors! (Google Santa Barbara Zoo Wedding to get a sense of the venue.)

What time is the wedding, and what time we should get there?

Answer

Guests are invited to arrive at 4 and enjoy Santa Barbara' spectacular zoo. There is free parking at the zoo. The ceremony starts at 5 on the nose. For my family that means be there by 4:30.
