Ledbury
Ledbury is the market town where our wedding will take place at St. Michael and All Angels Church. It has a significant number of Tudor style timber-framed structures, in particular along Church Lane and High Street. Gloucestershire
Near and dear to the Price family, Gloucestershire is home to the honey-hued, picture-perfect Cotswold villages, the Forest of Dean, and the annual (very dangerous!) Double Gloucester cheese rolling. The largest city in Gloucestershire is Gloucester. It’s known for 11th-century Gloucester Cathedral, which has Romanesque and Gothic architecture, plus the tomb of King Edward II. It is also where the tune of the American national anthem was composed! Nearby are the Gloucester Docks, with restored Victorian warehouses, a dry dock and the Mariners Chapel. Don't let the tour guides fool you, Harry Potter didn't quite study there, but plenty of the movies were filmed amidst the 'dreaming spires'.
Stratford-upon-Avon
Birthplace and home of William Shakespeare, Stratford-Upon-Avon is a wonderful town and home to the Royal Shakespeare Company. Hamlet is being performed during the week of Allie and James' wedding. To visit, or not to visit?
