Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We kindly request that guests wear Morning Dress, with National Dress (eg Highland Dress) or Military Formal Attire also welcome. FOR GENTLEMEN: This means a morning suit, a description of which can be found here: https://www.gq-magazine.co.uk/article/morning-suit-guide. There aren't many opportunities to wear this lovely style anymore, so do ask James if you've any questions about it. We know that there will be lots of people traveling in from outside the UK for whom getting their hands on morning dress might be a hassle. If so please don't worry - you'll look smashing in a lounge suit and (neck)tie as well if that's easier! But for those of you who do want to wear it and want to rent it and pick it up when you get to the UK, you can do so at places like: https://www.mossbroshire.co.uk/collection/morning-wear or https://www.oliverbrownlondon.com/collections/morning-wear-hire https://tuxlux.co.uk/formal-hire/morning-wear/ https://rathbonestailor.com/collections/all-tailcoats https://nealandpalmer.com/product-category/mens/hire/morning-suits-hire/ https://buckleighoflondon.com/morning-dress https://www.lipmanandsons.co.uk/formal-classic-menswear/formal-menswear-hire.html No 'tuxedos' please or top hats. FOR LADIES: As ever, these things can be trickier for ladies than for the chaps. Morning dress for ladies looks like elegant, formal day wear, and yes you may absolutely wear a hat! Here's a decent explanation: https://nicoleoneil.com/live/what-should-you-wear-for-a-morning-suit-dress-code For further inspiration, you might want to look up the Royal Ascot horse racing and see what the ladies wear there: https://lechicboutique.co.uk/royal-ascot-dress-code-traditional-modern/?srsltid=AfmBOoqBIddBJgmthW8dTS-A3ev7F7MVjkrYLqCQDTVM4osmWO_qwt1n Again, any questions get in touch. We want you looking fabulous, but also feeling comfortable! Gone are the days when Brits are difficult about these things (honest!) and you'll look wonderful whatever you wear!

Question

Will the ceremony be taking place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Most elements of the day will be held indoors, but there will be some moments you might be outdoors. As such, prepare for the Great British weather, which might require a coat, sunglasses and a brolly (umbrella), often all within an hour of each other!

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP in the 'RSVP' tab on our website.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. From most of the friends with young ones to whom we have spoken, you've already sorted childcare and are looking forward to a night out! But let us know if there are any problems!

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Space at Eastnor Castle is limited so plus ones will be indicated on your invitations.

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Please know that your presence is the best gift you could provide, but should you feel inclined, we have a gift list with Honeyfund via https://www.honeyfund.com/site/rice-price-03-29-2025 Due to UK banking restrictions, we cannot process checks/cheques from non-UK bank accounts. Thank you in advance for understanding!

Question

Have a question that wasn't covered?

Answer

Please feel free to reach out to Allie, James, or Poppy (our wedding planner - poppy@poppysiennaevents.co.uk) directly if you have additional questions.
